Opening soon on W North Loop Blvd, Austin
Boutique reformer Pilates in North Loop. We keep every class to six people and teach it together, so every rep gets seen.

Of water: settled, still and clear.
It’s how we want you to feel walking out of class. Steadier, lighter, a little clearer in the head.
One reformer each, in a room small enough that we can see all of you at once.
Aslıhan leads the class. İlyas works the room with her: springs, setup and form. It feels close to a private session, at a group price.
A light touch often fixes in a second what words take a minute to explain. It’s always optional, and you can tell us your preference anytime.
A wife-and-husband team, teaching side by side in every class.
Founder and lead instructor
Aslıhan trained in the European Pilates tradition and completed Balanced Body’s Movement Principles, Anatomy in Three Dimensions and Reformer 1, 2 and 3 courses. She holds a level-2 Pilates instructor certificate from the Turkish Gymnastics Federation and has five years of teaching behind her.
She teaches by showing, by watching closely and, with your OK, by hands-on cues.
Co-founder and instructor
İlyas has spent many years working in fitness. In class he’s the second set of eyes: setting springs, guiding transitions and adjusting form, so Aslıhan can keep the class moving.
Outside class, he’s the one answering your emails.
Before Austin, we opened a five-reformer studio in Sinop, a small city on Turkey’s Black Sea coast. Forty people signed up in the week before we opened, and we passed a hundred members within two months. We sold it to start again here, with the same idea: a small room and real attention.
Every class is on the reformer, with six people at most. New to reformer? Start with Foundations.
New to reformer
Setup, springs, breath and the core movements. Everyone’s first class at DURU, whatever their background.
All levels
A steady full-body class where one movement leads into the next. Our everyday class.
Intermediate and up
Heavier springs, longer holds and harder combinations, for when you know your way around the reformer.
By appointment
One-on-one, or with a friend or two. A good fit for injuries, specific goals or a gentle first try.
The full timetable and online booking open here before our first class. Tell us your times when you join the founding list, and we’ll plan the schedule around them.
Three classes for $75, to use within 21 days. Your first one is Foundations.
Grip socks are required, and we sell them at the studio. Our door opens straight into class, so it closes a few minutes after we begin.
Take three slow breaths and step onto your reformer. We’ll set your springs with you.
The warmth of home
That’s the room we’re building. A small studio where we learn your name and how your body moves, with a lounge at the back where coffee, water and snacks are waiting after class.
Come a little early, stay a little longer. Nobody here is a number on a waitlist.
Memberships give you the best price per class. Your Home Slot holds your regular weekly time, and Flex Swap lets you move a class within the same week when life gets busy.
